Principal
Nima Aghili (he/him)
Nima Aghili is a Principal at Satori Legal Search and brings over 15 years of legal recruiting experience. Nima is adept at conducting thorough searches on behalf of his lawyer candidates to find the right fit and provides a well-researched and detail-oriented approach to every search. Nima has lived and worked in California, Arizona, and Texas. Outside of work, Nima is interested in film, trivia, and Celtics basketball. He holds a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Texas. Before becoming a recruiter Nima worked as a Labor & Employment associate at a national AmLaw firm.
Principal
Megan Penrod (she/her)
Megan Penrod is a Principal at Satori Legal Search and brings nearly a decade of legal recruiting experience. Megan enjoys developing authentic relationships with lawyers in various stages of their careers, and using her nuanced understanding of the legal market to navigate career moves. She has lived and worked in Austin, Houston, Washington D.C., and Kansas City. When she isn't helping lawyers take the next step in their careers, Megan enjoys writing, yoga, cooking, and taking long walks with her retrievers. She holds a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law where she completed a Health Law Certificate, and a B.A. in Strategic Communications from the University of Kansas.
Recruiting Sourcer
Navid Aghili (he/him)
Navid Aghili is a Recruiting Sourcer based in Austin, Texas. He supports Satori's attorney searches through research, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in people. Thoughtful and naturally analytical, he enjoys learning about the careers, practices, and firms that make up the legal profession.
Before joining the firm, Navid worked in music production, photography, and videography, collaborating on creative projects in both Austin and New York. His diverse background, strong work ethic, and meticulous approach bring a unique perspective to Satori's search process.

Bodhi, English Cream Retriever (he/him)
Huxley, Flat-Coated Retriever (he/him)
Bodhi & Huxley are Satori's four-legged team members. They can often be found quietly supervising the workday, making the occasional cameo on video calls, and reminding the team to pause for a quick break. Their friendly presence reflects the thoughtful, relationship-driven culture that defines Satori.
Bodhi is the calm, gentle soul of the office. Affectionate and patient, he's content to quietly observe the day's work while offering steady companionship to those around him.
Huxley keeps things interesting. Full of curiosity, energy, and just enough mischief, he brings enthusiasm to each day and has a knack for making people laugh - especially when he decides a video call is the perfect time to say hello.
